This mobile saved us! It was a gift and we put it on a bassinet we kept in the living room. It bought us enough time to make dinner, go to the bathroom, or even get a small nap. It is awesome developmentally, allowing my baby to focus on the shapes and pictures. We still use it now, just having it sit on his bookcase, without the the mobile attached. When he starts stirring at night (not often), we just press the \"white noise\" button from the doorway, and back off he drifts to la la land! Love it! We buy it for friends for baby showers, even if its not on their registry. A must have!
We bought this mobile for our son 6 years ago. He absolutely loved it. The music was wonderful, and we loved how it grew with our son. The bright colors and remote control were great. Now, pregnant again, we are going to repurchase the same mobile. (We had given the first one away after our son outgrew it.) I\'ve shopped around and simply cannot find another mobile that we would be happy with.
My baby is 9 weeks old and has been watching this mobile mobile for some time now. She will look for one of the four, usually the smiley face, and follow it as far she can and then bring her head back for more.
My child was in breech position all the way through her delivery. Because of this, according to her pediatrician, she kept her head to one side. With this mobile\'s mobility, we swung it over her opposite shoulder and it has helped encourage her to move her head to the other side. Now she has more movement than ever. Also, before she could focus on it, the white noise came in very handy in helping to soothe our child to sleep during her fussy times. The booklet is very informative as well with information about sleep times for infants.
I would whole-heartedly recommend this to everyone looking for a developmental mobile for their child. I have never found one better and I\'m looking to give one as a gift to my sister-in-law.
I can\'t say enough good things about this mobile. Sassy has the best colorful toys--this is no exception! My baby loves to watch the toys rotate above his head. Even when he was just a few days old and he couldn\'t see the toys above him, the music helped soothe him while I rocked him to sleep. There is also a white noise setting if he wants something quieter and he often falls asleep to this. The pieces are detachable and when he is old enough, he will be able to play with them. I love that it has a remote control because I often forgot to put on the music when I had to feed him. It\'s so easy that my five year old can do it when my hands are full. It was also really easy to put together. I am very happy with this mobile.
This is a great mobile! It is versatile, plays music and moves on its own. I will never forget seeing little baby smiling up at the smiley face. Unlike so many mobiles, this one is actually designed to be viewed from below. The parts come out and make good rattles, and we used the music for months to ease baby off to sleep. Love it!
